Mashed Sweet Potatoes and Parsnips—Crock Pot Recipe

Serves 4

Deep orange mashed sweet potatoes are beautiful on the table and plate, the addition of a few parsnips makes the taste sophisticated.

4 cups of diced sweet potatoes
3 cups of medium parsnips, peeled and cubes
½ cup of chicken broth
2 tablespoons of butter- melted
½ teaspoon of sage
½ teaspoon of onion salt

Directions

Gently oil the inside of the crock pot. Lightly coat the inside of the crock pot. Add sweet potatoes, parsnips, broth, melted butter, sage and onion salt.

Cover and cook on low heat for 7-8 hours or on high heat for 4 hours.
